Dreamy Autocamp & Stunning Yosemite Valley Wedding

When Amy and Sam first reached out to us, and we hopped on Facetime to get to know each other more, the joy that these two radiated was abundantly apparent. Together, hand in hand, had such a passion for life with each other, to travel together, exercise together, and change the world together. Getting to know this incredible couple was so easy and so rewarding, and having the privilege of capturing their love story and wedding day at the stunning Autocamp in Yosemite National Park was an honor.

Yosemite Valley Autocamp Wedding bride and groom

The morning began with a beautiful sunrise and everyone slowly getting ready in their separate cabins, anticipating the wedding day ahead. Surrounded by pine trees, mountains, airstreams, and loved ones, it was truly one of the most dreamy ways to get ready for the biggest day of their lives. We were able to sneak into Yosemite National Park for some beautiful photos of Sam and Amy at Tunnel View and throughout Yosemite Valley’s most iconic destinations for a wedding/elopement. The weather was cloudy but the sun peaked through multiple times, and the joy was radiating throughout every moment.

Autocamp was the destination for the rest of the day, hosting the perfect space for an adventure destination elopement with a higher guest count. Each guest had their own unique airstream, and Sam and Amy were able to plan a full weekend of adventures for everyone in addition to their most incredible wedding day full of celebrating.

Another apparent about Sam and Amy was their passion for games, and bringing their loved ones together and in community by having everyone participate in fun games that lead to laughter and meaningful connection and conversation. For example, during their cocktail hour, they decided to have a GIANT game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. Essentially, with all 70 guests, everyone began playing a game of rock paper scissors with whomever was next to them, and the winner of the match would then play another winner, bringing the defeated guest as an instant cheerleader for them. By the end, the cocktail hour was filled with 2 winners who were each being cheered on with loud hoots and hollers as the final showdown game commenced. It was the most unique way I’ve seen a large group at a wedding, filled with some people meeting for the first time, connect and laugh and share so much joy together. And it just spoke volumes to the fact that this is what Sam and Amy love to do, to bring people together.

We had the best time capturing these memories with this amazing couple, at the most stunning venue in Yosemite National Park.
