When Roy + Savannah came to us and said, we want to hear any and every adventurous elopement destination you and Chris would recommend, we were thrilled. Of course, we had hundreds of recommendations for our favorite places to explore together, that we’ve captured adventure elopements at before, and places we had traveled to and always dreamed of setting up an elopement for a couple at. Ultimately, Kauai, Hawaii checked all of these boxes! It was a beautiful destination no matter where you were on the island, there were plenty of excursions, relaxing beaches, snorkeling, and so much more that Savanah and Roy could do for their honeymoon afterward, or with their families to soak up some family time before the wedding, the list just went on and on.
And most importantly, it made for a beautiful location to officially begin their journey as husband and wife with one another. After sunset, Savannah and Roy headed to their airbnbs before waking up on their wedding day to get ready. It was a perfect sunset at Polihale, and added immensley to the anticipation of the elopement day, where we would be visiting all of the most beautiful locations in Kauai as they started their lives as husband and wife.
After getting ready, we went to Shipwreck Beach in Poipu for an intimate ceremony with their closest family members, right on the ocean. It was a beautiful February day, the weather was a perfect 70 degrees, and everyone was ready to celebrate the love of this special couple.
Once their stunning, intimate ceremony at Shipwreck Beach ended, we started our adventure up to the Na Pali Coastline and Waimea Canyon. It was just Savannah, Roy, Chris and I for the remainder of the afternoon, exploring all of the beauty that Kauai has to offer, and capturing the two of them soaking up every new moment as husband and wife.
